The prosecutors and judges should have to face the families they have torn to shreds by their over-zealous, unfair treatment of some defendants...all involved in the criminal justice system need to realize that it's not just another case they are hearing or trying that day...it is that person's LIFE and that of their family's that is at risk that day and for all days to come...so once all realize what their mistakes or lack of passion or lack of investigating a certain case can do to a person's life only then can the justice system be a just one. As of now, prosecutor's have too much power and judges are too political leading to a system that backs all accused into a f***ing corner with nowhere to turn.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5945843206427351559.post-78883815902398532402010-04-29T16:28:56.894-04:002010-04-29T16:28:56.894-04:00And we need to lobby, which means we need to organ...And we need to lobby, which means we need to organize.

You're close. You need to organize, organize and organize. I'll bet there isn't one lawyer in two hundred that can actually set up and organize a law office, much less a professional affiliation of egotistical, intelligent, learned attorneys. However, if you and your buds are going to make any kind of difference at all, that's what you'll need. Moreover, after you do finally get some kind of organization off the ground the very first time you accomplish anything newsworthy at all, you'll have politicos from all three parties calling you up for cocktails, and each and every one of them will be glad to throw their considerable support behind your worthy cause. Think about that for a minute and tell me how many politicians it takes to steal the money from a blind beggarman's cup.

After you get the assemblage in motion, the lobbying will tend to fall into place. The changes you want will slowly, painfully come about as well, providing commercial media will start carrying your stories; however, with the advent of the Internet news and blogosphere, both of which are getting bigger all the time, I think you have an opportunity now that didn't exist five years ago.

Best of luck to you.Mad Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06190137186843630543noreply@blogger.com
