We kill more than enough people in this country. The one where I live. The one where I practice law.
I haven't the time or, more importantly, the psychic energy, to attend to the government murders under cover of what passes for law in the rest of the world.
And yet.
Because really, all those folks who say if you'd just kill enough people you could end crime because everyone would know the risk and be deterred. I have to ask:
How many is enough before people understand?
How many until we're done with crime?
And how many until we just say, "Enough"?
