Sometimes There Is Hope

I write a lot about things gone wrong, about the desperate and the hopeless, about death and killing. I write about a system often so corrupted that no hint is left of what it supposedly aspires to be.

Bobby Kennedy, referencing George Bernard Shaw but misquoting the serpent's words to Eve in his Back to Methuselah, said
Some people see things as they are and say why?  I dream things that never were and say, why not?
Once in a while, we come upon something that looks at both of those questions.

And from it, sometimes, we fine hope. And beauty.  And something very like truth.

  1. Excellent. It's good to get a little perspective on life every now and then. It brings tears to the eyes to see people who have been discarded like trash find beauty in trash.

    Thank you.
